Kristin Pedemonti was filled with dread at the arrival of the big 5-0. Were her forties, a decade of newly realized desire and sexual adventure, really coming to an end? A last-minute invite allows her to celebrate her big number birthday at a Tantra festival. She arrives feeling unworthy and intimidated at the prospect of 2 days of intimacy and sexuality workshops, but by weekend’s end, she’s been introduced to partnered touch, sound healing, yoga and more, and leaves on Sunday feeling self-acceptance, empathy, confidence, and being adored, loved and devoured in all the right ways.

Here’s hoping that 2019 delivers limitless pleasures to you as well, my friends!

UPDATE: Kristin Pedemonti says “2019 will be a full-on nomadic adventure! I’m headed out across the country to teach and travel. And as a female survivor, I’ve created ‘Steer your Story: take control and navigate with more empowerment and ease’ – I’m bringing it to cities across the US (yours?) and to South Korea. It’s a program to examine and reframe your life narrative, to see opportunities rather than obstacles. These workshops are for female survivors of trauma (with programs for Survivors or Entrepreneurs).

Kristin will also be offering the Presentation Skills and Coaching she’s taught for corporate clients like the World Bank (TEDTalks, anyone?)

It’s part 2 of the Bawdy/Risk! live collaboration show in Brooklyn!

Bawdy Storytelling went to Brooklyn recently to collaborate with the Risk! podcast, and recorded it live for both podcasts. In this episode, you’ll hear the second half of the live ‘Pervert’ show, plus an interview that Kevin Allison did with Dixie De La Tour about her story ‘Freak Wedding’. Dixie and Kevin talk about why we each do what we do, our love for sex and storytelling, and the joy of putting people onstage – and on our podcasts – to tell their stories. There’s a bit of storytelling theory, some intensely personal reveals, and a whole lot of mutual love and respect.

Thanks for a good time, Kevin!

Bawdy Storytelling joins the Risk! podcast again in Brooklyn!

This week’s episode is part 1 of the live ‘Pervert’ show, recorded at the Bell House in November 2018. Hosted by Bawdy’s Dixie De La Tour and Risk’s Kevin Allison (2 redheaded perverts who love to create storytelling shows together), there’s simply too much depravity and debauchery for one episode, so stay tuned for part 2 of the evening on next week’s podcast.

Also, be sure to go over to Risk-show.com for a different take on the evening, and for a unique behind-the-scenes from Risk’s host Kevin Allison.

Together they attend her first sex party in an upscale hotel. For a moment, Karin worries that her dimpled, over 40 ass may ruin her first orgy –  until her medical training saves the day, and earns her a standing ovation!

Nonstop college parties are not enough when you have Attention Deficit Disorder. Claire Webber’s ADD demands that she up the anté on every social situation, because gravity bongs and keggers just feel…inadequate. One night, a pile of stolen male clothing and a repurposed five-and-dime pervertible inspire Claire to experiment with gender transformation. Despite plans to keep it platonic, Claire’s alter-ego proves irresistible to her sensible dorm-mate, so Chelsea (and her boyfriend Luke) bargain to nullify their roommate agreement.Together, this threesome discovers what this hot new man is packing in his pants!

Our Storyteller:

Claire Webber started performing in dramatic theater but was gently guided into other creative endeavors with director's’ notes such as, “You make people intensely uncomfortable” and “This production was meant to be seen by families.” Stand-up comedy was a natural fit. Claire's dedication to her odd little Id taints every aspect of her comedy and leaves an audience whimpering for more. Claire has performed at Bumbershoot and The Moth Seattle Grand Slam. His first orgasm in grade school had Matt Lieb obsessed – how do I get more of THAT?! Pretty soon, no household object is safe from his pillaging (will you recognize something that you’ve borked in his massive list?) til one day, he affixes his eyes on the prize, that Holy Grail of masturbation: Auto-Fellatio. Are you up to the challenge? Only a limited number of people are physically capable of this act, and in this episode’s story, Matt shares some helpful tips and tricks from his own experiences – and reveals how different the act of oral stimulation on your own penis was than his hopes and dreams.

Spoiler Alert: one of his Mom’s hobbies helps him to achieve this lofty goal.

Our Storyteller: Matt Lieb is a comedian, writer, and actor from Los Angeles. As a stand up comedian in San Francisco, he was named one of the "2016 Best Comedians in the Bay Area" by SFist and has performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, and the 10,000 Laughs Festival in Minneapolis. Matt's comedy has been featured on the VICELAND, Hulu, SeeSo, and Gabriel Iglesias' "Stand Up Revolution Radio" on SiriusXM. Currently, Matt is a correspondent on Emmy Nominated short form series The Star Wars Show, a writer/performer on Newsbroke on AJ+, and writer for Audible's original series Bedtime Stories for Cynics with Nick Offerman, where he has written for David Spade, Tommy Chong, Nick Thune, and more. Burned out and overworked, corporate employee Gretchen Shanks takes a long overdue vacation to Tulum Mexico to escape. She’s hoping to escape her empty existence for a few weeks – hey, wouldn’t a romantic encounter be perfect?! But during a hookup (yes!) with her Mayan kayak guide, she realizes a lifelong pattern in the bedroom and resolves to employ her research superpowers to change her sex life. Gretchen’s travel involves more than the Yucatan peninsula; using her laptop and impressive spreadsheet skills, she goes from frustrated to an expert in sex parties, dominance and submission, sexological bodywork, tantra and more. Then one night in a BDSM dungeon, she meets a man who takes her to a place she’s never been.

Ready for orgasms, desire, and female pleasure? Geek research powers activate!

Dolan is a recent college graduate and frustrated writer who is sure he’s straight. Broke and mired in a trifecta of misery - a career-ending Rugby injury, the daily unhappiness of his London PR job, and the endless taunts from a homophobic coworker – he’s in despair, convinced that there has to be more to life than this. When he stumbles upon a Time Out London magazine coupon for savings off the price of admission to a gay bathhouse, his thrifty nature leads him deep inside the infamous men’s sauna beneath Waterloo station - and the adventure changes him forever.

Can the best sex of your life alter who you vote for? Die-hard Democrat Jessica Cohen meets a vienna sausage fingered, Russ Limbaugh-listening Republican on an OKCupid date, and while appalled at his politics, the chemistry in the bedroom is overwhelming. Their post-sex cuddling and conversation allows them to understand each other’s politics better, and she empathizes with his circumstances that led him to vote Red. But can the phrase ‘opposites attract’ extend all the way to the voting booth? And should you sleep with someone who is canceling out your vote?

A chance exchange of fluids? Sharing a pizza with a naked coworker? When you’re a jizzmopper, every workday is fraught with sexual run-ins between the club’s open-minded staff and their randy visitors. Oh, and Happy No-Syphilis Cupcake Day!

First time storyteller Marco Salsiccia is a visual animator and gamer whose world is upended when he starts to go blind. To escape the social isolation and loneliness, he attempts to master the new low vision tools given to him by the Lighthouse for the Blind, and then decides to make it fun by using them to explore dating sites. One night, his text-to-speech reader steers him toward OKCupid, and to an incredible woman who teaches him to live in a brand new way. Rather than having his life diminished by retinal cancer, his world - and his understanding of what love is - expands beyond his wildest dreams.
